Jane Gentleman has been working in recruitment and lead generation for over twenty-five years and has placed mid to senior executives across all sectors including automotive, banking, cleantech, communications, construction, energy, financial services, FMCG, IT, marketing and media, pharmaceutical, private equity, public relations, renewables, retail, science & technology, transport and more recently central government. Prior to joining the recruitment industry Jane worked in The City for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, followed by a stint at Westminster in the House of Lords.
Jane founded and built a brand leading FMCG recruitment company from scratch in 1999 and went on to merge with another leading brand in 2007. She then exited the business in 2009 with a turnover of c£1m; the business is still trading successfully today. She was also instrumental in advising and launching another FMCG recruitment business in 2008 which has gone on to be a brand leader. Jane launched Cleantech People Ltd in 2011.
In her free time Jane enjoys walking her two dogs. She also enjoys theatre trips, live music gigs and fine dining.
Amanda Clarke joined Jane in 2011 and had previously worked as a Marketing Manager at Glenmorangie Whisky Company in Edinburgh where she grew up. Amanda took a career break to bring up her two daughters and then worked as a Marketing Manager for St. Andrew’s Ambulance Association in Edinburgh before moving South in 2004. From 2004 to 2011 Amanda worked in various marketing and research roles within the recruitment industry. Amanda studied Biological Sciences at Napier University.
Amanda enjoys Tai Chi and QiGong practice and also enjoys fine dining, good wine, live music and the theatre.
